Plan Overview

This clever two bedroom home is a modification of one of several designs we received from TC Legend Homes of Bellingham, WA. The clerestory windows privide south-facing sunshine to the north-side upstairs bedroom, bathroom, and sitting room. The sitting room would make an excellent baby’s room for a growing family. The sliding glass doors on the main level provide easy access to the back yard, as the sun pours in and heats the finished concrete floor. The prototype of this plan was built in a very cold climate, and has performed as a passive house in all but the most extreme weather. It will achieve net-zero-energy with very little PV installed, and it has plenty of south-facing roof to also power your electric car.
