This tidy Zero-Energy home, with a 4.8 KW solar PV system and a 40-tube solar hot water heater on the south facing roof face, has everything you could ask for! The second bedroom and main bathroom on the mail level are designed for handicapped access.  The two-master suite concept has been very popular with today’s early retirees, who tend to entertain a lot of house guests.  Many couples will share a summer home and a winter home with another couple, this plan would lend itself to that lifestyle.  It also offers the opportunity to take care of an elderly parent in the second main floor bedroom.  Like the other homes in our Cottage series, the garage can be extended to hold two or more vehicles.
